We carry gas, electric, and charcoal-burning grills.

It depends.

Gas grills are the most popular type of backyard grill that runs on propane or natural gas. They are great for individuals who want to quickly fire up the grill and cook a meal without having to worry about charcoal cleanup. The disadvantages are you tend to lose flavor and prices can be more expensive.

Charcoal grills use charcoal briquettes as the fuel and fire for cooking. They are great for individuals who love a smoky, grilled flavor and they tend to burn at a higher temperature than gas allowing meat to easily sear. The disadvantage is that it takes time for a charcoal grill to heat up and you will need to spend some time cleaning up your grill and disposing of ashes once you’ve finished cooking. Purchasing charcoal on a regular basis can add up making ongoing costs more expensive than gas or electric grills.

Electric grills are powered by electricity and cook meat using heated grill plates. They are great for city dwellers or for individuals living in apartment/condo complexes where they are prohibited by fire regulations from using gas or charcoal grills. The disadvantage is that you can lose taste. Although grill marks are easy to come by, they still do not create the same flavor profile as charcoal grills.

Not necessarily. Sometimes a grill might not be functioning optimally due to a faulty part. We carry a wide range of replacement parts and can come fix your existing grill saving you another costly purchase.
The most important difference between cooking with smokers and grills is the temperature of which they are cooked at. Grills have direct heating so the temperature of the grill reaches as high as 400 degrees or more and no matter what type, cooking temperature will be very high. Smokers on the other hand typically cook at a temperature range of 160 – 300 degrees hence making the cooking time longer.
An outdoor kitchen is a place outside of the home where you can cook, prepare a meal, and easily clean up afterwards. Outdoor kitchens usually have some sort of heating element such as a stove, a cooktop, grill, etc. They are great for those who love entertaining outdoors eliminating the need to make trips in and out of the house. Outdoor kitchens can also include storage space and refrigerators. Also, it keeps the smell of cooking outside of the house and cleanup is simpler since something dropping on the ground does not require cleaning up with a rag or mopping.
We carry both wood-burning and gas fireplaces.
Wood burning fireplaces are made to burn wood or logs whereas gas burning fireplaces can only burn gas and usually come with logs, burners, and igniters.
Although you may not need to have your chimney swept, you should still have it inspected regularly by professionals. This way you can make sure you have no damaged and that your fireplace is still completely safe and usable.
Yes. We recommend that gas logs be regularly serviced. Vented gas logs need to have carbon deposits removed and possibly the chimney and fireplace swept. Logs should also be serviced which will remove any dust or matter from the fireplace that shouldn’t be there. Additionally, proper log placement should be verified by professionals.
We recommend all of our Monmouth County customers to have their gas fireplaces inspected and serviced at least once a year. Like most gas-fired appliances, a gas fireplace requires regular annual maintenance to ensure its safety and efficiency. Routine maintenance helps maintain low energy costs and ensures that your fireplace will continue to be operational for years of enjoyment.
Inserts are designed to enhance the functionality and appearance of an existing wood-burning fireplace. A fireplace insert is a fireproof steel or cast-iron box that is insulted by glass within the fireplace opening that is designed which increases fireplace heat efficiency. Normally fireplaces can be inefficient with heat output which is why an insert is appealing to many fireplace owners.
An electric fireplace operates solely on electricity. There is no actual flame present, however, many electric fireplaces have a source of light which simulated flames. They are easily installed because they require no vent or gas lines. As a result, they can be wall hung, built in, or installed in cabinets.
We carry doors for all major fireplace manufacturers for both indoor and outdoor fireplaces, including masonry doors, airtight and air sealed doors, pocket doors, corner fireplace doors and zero-clearance doors to name a few. We also offer mantels for every design and budget and can use materials like stone, wood, marble and more! Lastly, from pokers to brooms we have everything that you need to keep the fire burning all night long. We carry a wide array of designs, styles and materials to suit every décor.
We offer a full line of chimney services to Monmouth County and the surrounding areas including chimney sweeps, caps, repairs, inspections, and cleaning to home sale inspections.
